Merry-Go-Round Farm Barn Safety Tips

While enjoying the surroundings of the horses and barns, please keep in mind the following safety tips:

1. Never run or make loud noises around horses.

2. Walk into barns cautiously.

3. Do not enter a horse's stall.

4. Do not touch or feed the horses unless the owners have given permission.

5. Children must be accompanied by adults.

6. Stay out of haylofts.

7. Absolutely NO SMOKING in or around the barns.

8. Bicycles and baby strollers are not permitted in the barn isles.

9. Call "door" when approaching the indoor ring.

Our boarders are concerned for the safety of you and your children. We are lucky to have such considerate boarders, let's be considerate to them and their horses as well. Be cautious about giving treats, some horses may be ill or have allergies and may be on strict diets as a result. Also, giving treats encourages horses to nip or bite. Watch those fingers and always get permission first.
