Around the Barn
Merry-Go-Round Farm offers two barns for stall boarding as well as
four large fields for field boarding. All
horses are checked individually twice a day, grained twice a day, have access
to grass and/or hay, and are given plenty of turnout.
The farm also has a large indoor ring, a sand ring,
a grass ring, and miles of
trails through woods and along the C&O Canal. The trails
have hundreds of built-in jumps, each one with a go-around to give each rider an option. The trails often
lead to beautiful meadows with built-in jumps, open spaces, and panoramic views. The Merry-Go-Round trails also connect to the Potomac Bridle Trails.
Merry-Go-Round Farm uses the services of Dr. Scullin from Damascus Veterinary Practice
for its health maintenance program. Boarders can use their own ferrier and trainer.
