The Farm's unique family environment includes 79 home sites clustered with 140 acres set aside to be enjoyed perpetually-by nature lovers, riders, hikers, children and their parents.

Three lakes provide ideal places for picnics in the summer and skating parties in the winter. Newspaper columnist Drew Pearson built and named Merry-Go-Round Farm. It was at lakeside that he entertained Supreme Court justices, ambassadors, presidents, senators, congressmen and movie stars.

The trails are perfect for jogging, birdwatching, horseback riding, cross-country skiing and sunset strolls along the river.

The farm is home to cows, calves and horses, as well as wildlife: deer, rabbit, fox, geese, ducks, wild turkeys and hundreds of other species of animals and birds. An extraordinary variety of native trees, shrubs and wildflowers are found throughout the woods. Merry-Go-Round is a playground of natural enchantment for young and old alike.
